The situation in the valley of Kashmir is going from bad to worse with every passing moment as the year 2018 has started with the spree of unabated bloodshed taking the lives of number of humans . The year started with deadly IED blast in Sopore killing four cops, the killing of youth in Sopore by Unknown gun followed by deadly encounters at chadoora in Budgam and KoKernag in South Kashmir . 2016, 2016 were quite tough years and same seems going in 2018 . The latest was the killing of six militants in Uri encounter in North Kashmir .From North to South to Central the situation in Kashmir is taking a very deadly turn. " We are once again passing through a phase where we are witness to lot of bloodshed and lack of hope with things showing no signs of forward movement and this does not augur well for us .It looks the situation in Kashmir is much worse and there is a need of concrete Confidence building measures so that we do not see things getting totally out of control , stated a Political Analyst . The dominant pulse is that the current situation in Kashmir is fraught with dangers with situation resembling the initial phases of deadly 90s some even going on to say that hope in Kashmir is at lowest levels . Killing of young ones is compounding the matters further which according to voices if not contained will dash many a hopes. (KNB)
